| The ceramic ferrule is a required accessory for welding studs on steel. The ceramic ferrule from HCCC is made with heat-resistant ceramics and contains the following functions: | |
| 1. | To shield studs from air while welding to prevent the metal from reacting with the air to produce heat at the same point to slow down cooling. |
| 2. | By putting the stud into the ceramic ferrule, the compression air of the stud welding gun will push the stud downwards to force the stud into the melted steel in liquid form. After solidification, the stud welding gun and the ferrule can be removed. |
| 3. | There are two types of ceramic ferrules: standard and drive-in penetration types. Orders for various basic sizes of SN and DS studs are acceptable. |
